Most tests are performed at Hughes Center for Functional Medicine. During your medical consultation, your physician determines which tests are needed. Then our nurses review with you testing recommendations, instructions and costs. You do not need to have any bloodwork done in advance of your appointment, nor do you need to fast.

You may choose to receive additional testing if desired. We frequently test for nutrition, stress, genetics, allergies, acids and more. Urine, saliva and stool testing may be done at home.

Keep in mind that you may not require immediate testing to receive effective care.
